The name SHAKARA comes from the Sanskrit word shakar, which honors the long history of growing sugar cane in the Mainland Southeast Asia since the Neolithic Era. SHAKARA is a dynamic initiation to the world of aged rums from Thailand, a terroir that holds many hidden gems.

Produced on column still and aged in ex-bourbon cask in the tropical climate of Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.
