Hampden Estate HLCF Classic is the new standard iteration of Hampden Estate's original Overproof rum. A single mark (HLCF) of the distillery showing an ester level of 400-600 g/hlpa, this release is full of funk and dynamic complexity. Produced from a mix of raw materials, HLCF Classic was naturally fermented with ambient yeast for 1 week, distilled on double retort pot stills and aged in the tropical conditions of Trelawny, Jamaica. HLCF is considered the threshold into the world of Hampden Estate's high ester marks and strikes a defined balance between intensity and elegance. Bottled at 60% abv.
