Building on the momentum of the initial 2021 unaged release, Habitation Velier is proud to unveil the first-ever aged expression from the Haitian distillery, Providence. This rum is defined by a unique and meticulous production process, utilizing a blend of both concentrated sugarcane syrup and fresh Cristalline juice, all harvested from the sun-drenched fields of Saint Michel-de-l’Attalaye.

The complexity of the spirit begins in the fermentation tanks, where the use of selected yeasts is bolstered by the addition of dunder—the flavor-rich liquid remains of previous distillations—to amplify the aromatic precursors. Distilled in 2020, this specific edition was matured exclusively in ex-Caroni casks, allowing the vibrant Haitian cane to intertwine with the legendary, heavy-bodied influence of Trinidad’s "lost distillery."

With a tropical "Angel’s Share" exceeding 25%, this concentrated release boasts an ester content of 265 gr/hlPA. It is a world-class collision of Haitian terroir and historic Caribbean wood, marking a bold new chapter for the Port-au-Prince distillery.
